Landmark Commercial Realty Inc. was selected as the exclusive broker to market the commercial outparcels for The Steel Works – the newest mixed-use development in Dauphin County. Chuck Heller will be the listing agent for the retail and office space.
Two four-story and two three-story buildings are slated to be developed as part of the $12 million project. Six vacant blocks, extending from 102-230 North Front Street in downtown Steelton, will include a mix of retail and office space on the first floors and approximately 100 apartments on the upper floors.
Included in the available retail and office space will be a brewpub and a 20,000 square-foot grocery store.
Chuck Heller, a member of the brokerage team stated, “Landmark is very excited to be a part of this revitalization project for Steelton. The new mixed-use development will be tremendously beneficial to not only the Borough but for its residents.”
Also planned for the project is a large park and amphitheater that would host events and small concerts.
Integrated Development Partners, LLC (IDP) of Wormleysburg was selected as the developer after a request for proposal was generated by the Dauphin County Redevelopment Authority in July. IDP purchased the land from the Steelton Economic Development Corporation.
Construction is expected to begin as early as late fall 2019.
