Landmark Commercial Realty Facilitates Major Property Acquisitions for Central Dauphin School District
Harrisburg, PA – Landmark Commercial Realty is proud to announce its instrumental role in the recent acquisition of three properties by Central Dauphin School District, a move that underscores the power of teamwork and the positive impact on the local community.
The first property, located at 4521 Crums Mill Road, was brokered by Jason Grace, CCIM, SIOR, CEO and Managing Principal, and Michael Curran, SIOR, President and Executive Managing Director. This newly acquired building will support the district’s plan for full-day kindergarten, providing eleven classrooms for students from Mountainview and Northside elementary schools. The second property, a ±33,000 square foot building at 4031 Executive Park Drive in Swatara Township, has officially settled. This facility will provide fifteen classrooms for kindergarten students from Chambers Hill, Lawnton, Rutherford, and Tri-Community elementary schools, thanks to the efforts of Tom Posavec, SIOR, Senior Vice President, Corporate Services, and Chris Newton, Senior Associate.
The third property, located at 75 S. Houcks Road, will serve as the new administration building and incorporate a district resource center offering services for students and their families. This acquisition was also facilitated by Tom Posavec, SIOR, and Chris Newton of Landmark Commercial Realty.
These acquisitions are part of a larger $36 million project to transition the district from half-day to full-day kindergarten. The district will spend $9.4 million to purchase these properties, marking the first step in this significant initiative.
